Can I use my Bluetooth headset or Apple Air Pods to record?

No. Bluetooth headsets (and the Apple Air pods, which use Bluetooth audio for recording) provide functional but, from a recording perspective, poor quality audio.

This is because the Bluetooth standard for microphone audio is designed for use in conventional phone calls and applies heavy compression to the audio to make it easier to transmit to the phone. For regular phone calls this has almost no impact upon quality, because the line itself only allows for a limited quality level in the first place. This, incidentally, is the exact issue RINGR was designed to fix.

This compression will significantly reduces the quality of a RINGR recording. Far better results will be achieved with the regular telephone handset mic - hence, RINGR does not support Bluetooth mics and headsets.
